Two Bone Thugs-n-Harmony fans paid around $80 to meet the band, including Bizzy Bone, on a tour bus stop in Chicago. For some reason, Bizzy beat the fans - as in, he assaulted them, according to news reports.
It's unclear why Bizzy felt like he needed to lay the beat down on the two fans, according to celebrity gossip source TMZ.
The two men told authorities that when they entered the tour bus, Bizzy, for whatever reason, started to get mad, TMZ reports.
Once on the bus, Bizzy and the fans started screaming at each other, and Bizzy started swinging. Bizzy managed to dominate the fight, wailing on both of the men until one of the other Bone Thugs-n-Harmony members stepped in to stop the fight, TMZ reports.
Bizzy Bone must still have some street cred to be able to hold his own against two guys. But, at the same time, as a celebrity whose income relies on the willingness of his fans to (1) shell out money to buy records, and (2) slap down cash to attend concerts, beating up fans who paid $80 to meet him is probably not the best way to gain some fan loyalty.
It does not seem like any of the men were admitted to the hospital after the incident, however they both claim to have suffered bruises, with one man saying that he broke his nose during the fight.
One of the beaten fans filed a police report about the Bizzy Bone attack the next day, according to TMZ. Police are still investigating the complaint, and Bizzy has not been arrested or charged with any crimes. If the police investigation finds that there is criminal liability, he could be arrested, and criminal charges could be filed against him.
For the rest of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony crew, Bizzy beating fans is probably not the best way to promote their music. If what the two men said is true, maybe one of the other rappers should tell Bizzy Bone how tour bus etiquette works - keep assaults at a minimum.
