Katt Williams Arrested: Intimidating a Witness

Comedian and actor Katt Williams' arrest involved some strange circumstances. The recipe for his most recent run-in with the law includes: Katt Williams, a tractor, and three women.

Yes, a tractor was involved.

Williams was arrested in Los Angeles. He had been staying at a house where a tractor operator was working outside on a neighbor's home, reports Digital Spy.

Three women then approached the tractor and the tractor operator, throwing dirt and rocks at the man. He suffered some injuries on his face during the attack, according to Digital Spy.

Okay, so thus far this is already a weird scenario. The poor tractor driver was just trying to do his job when three unnamed women come up throwing rock and dirt at him?

Then it got weirder.

The man's wife came to pick him up, but after she arrived Williams blocked their exit with his SUV.

The man then called the police, who arrived and arrested Williams and the three women who remain unnamed. Williams was charged with felony intimidation of a witness, and was released on bail after he shelled out $50,000, reports The Hollywood Gossip.

As for the three women throwing dirt and rocks? They were charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Why were they charged with assault with a deadly weapon? Maybe it was because they were throwing rocks at the tractor driver. Different objects can be classified as "deadly weapons" depending on if they can cause death or serious injury. Guns are the most classic example, though things like pocket knives can also be deadly weapons depending on the situation. Throwing rocks - especially heavy ones - at someone and hitting their face could cause death or serious injury.

Of course, this recent Katt Williams arrest/Katt Williams tractor standoff leaves a lot of questions unanswered, and is likely one of the more unusual arrests for Katt Williams. But Williams could still top this, you never know.
