Frank Ocean: Chris Brown 'Jumped' Me Over Parking Space

Chris Brown just can't seem to keep himself out of the headlines. The singer is now under investigation for allegedly assaulting rapper-singer Frank Ocean.

Unlike Brown's brawl with Drake last year, it wasn't Rihanna but rather a parking spot at a West Hollywood recording studio that supposedly led to this fight, reports The Associated Press.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which patrols West Hollywood, is currently investigating the incident. So far, no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.

In Chris Brown's latest alleged assault, sheriff's deputies responded to a report of six men fighting Sunday night. When they arrived at the scene, all the combatants had left. However, witnesses told the cops that the fight was supposedly over a parking space, and that Chris Brown had punched a victim, reports the AP.

Authorities did not name the alleged victim, but TMZ reported that it was indeed Frank Ocean. Ocean apparently confirmed this report via Twitter, telling his followers that he "got jumped by chris and a couple of guys. lol." Ocean's tweet also said that he'd sustained a cut to his finger, and "now i can't play w two hands at the grammys."

If Ocean's version of the events is true, this will be Brown's third dust-up with another celebrity. Most notably, in 2009, he was involved in a violent domestic dispute with his then-girlfriend Rihanna that resulted in criminal charges. And as mentioned above, he was involved in a nightclub fight with rapper Drake which reportedly also began with taunts about Rihanna, though it did not lead to criminal repercussions.

Brown could potentially be charged with assault and battery in this parking lot brawl. The specific charges, if any, will depend upon what deputies find in their investigation.

With Chris Brown's alleged assault on Frank Ocean, music fans can now probably name more of his alleged victims than his actual song titles. And maybe this is what Brown intended.
