Reminder - April 17 is the Deadline for Filing 2006 Federal Taxes
A reminder -- the deadline for filing federal taxes this year is April 17 (not April 15). Taxpayers across the U.S. have this extra time to file and pay because April 15 falls on a Sunday and the following day, Monday, April 16, is Emancipation Day, a legal holiday in the District of Columbia.
