FindLaw Decks the Halls (and Our Blogs) With the Holiday Spirit

It's "officially" the holidays and FindLaw is taking time to join in on the festive spirit of the season.

So whether you're wrapping up Hanukkah celebrations (remember, latkes don't refrigerate well) or wrapping up Christmas presents, check out some things the FindLaw teams do to get into the holiday spirit:

Festive Parties and Potlucks

We wanted to follow our own advice regarding holiday parties, so FindLaw's Silicon Valley office is making sure that all the upcoming cheer is nice and legal.

The first celebration is a holiday potluck on Thursday, which is sure to increase holiday mirth. And maybe holiday girth. But a few added pounds are nothing compared to a slip and fall lawsuit -- good thing our potluck is on the first floor.

FindLaw is also hosting a bona fide holiday bowling party on Tuesday... outside of the office. Not only does this allow our employees to cut loose off the clock, it makes it very clear that the party isn't mandatory.

And nothing says holiday spirit like bowling a "turkey."

Spreading Legal Tips and Laughs

No matter if you're spending the holidays with family or if your employer forced you to work all of December, FindLaw has the content to keep you jolly.

Ever wonder how the Grinch would be charged for stealing Christmas? Check out FindLaw Blog Editor Tanya Roth's light-hearted yet legally packed analysis of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" and pretend you're the Whoville District Attorney.

Catch yourself whistling "Santa Claus is Comin' To Town?" You may want to pout after reading about a musical copyright suit that definitely ruined someone's Christmas.

In the mood for something more practical? Check out these seven tips for keeping your holiday spending in check to keep the green in your decor and in your wallet. Plus, nothing ruins joyous holiday moments like collection calls.

No matter how you celebrate the next few weeks, we at FindLaw wish you a safe (and legal) Happy Holidays!
