Baltimore Priest Arrested for Indecent Exposure in Porn Shop

Baltimore-area priest Father Mark Stewart Bullock was arrested last week after police found him half naked in the back of Bush River Books & Movies -- a porn shop. He was hauled in for indecent exposure -- a misdemeanor punishable with up to 3 years in prison and a $1,000 fine.

When Rev. Joseph Barr later told parishioners about the priest in the porn shop, he assured them that "no adults or children from the parish or our parish school were involved."

The public was involved, however. Mark Bullock was found nude from the waist down in a movie theatre inside the porn shop, reports the Baltimore Sun. He was sitting on a coach in an area accessible by the public.

He was also "exposing his penis."

Oddly enough, Bullock couldn't have picked a better place to publicly expose himself. If he had exposed himself to a minor, he could have been arrested for a more severe crime, or faced placement on the state's sex offender registry.

However, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in porn shops. The priest was only able to expose himself to adults.

Victim age -- and location -- is also likely to factor into Bullock's punishment. In the grand scheme of things, exposing oneself to adults in a porn shop is not that tragic -- and in some cases, it's even expected.

Mark Bullock will probably end up with probation or a suspended sentence. However, he'll forever be known as the priest in a porn shop.
