FindLaw is Attending the NACBA Convention

FindLaw is always looking for a chance to interact with current and potential customers. Attending legal conventions is just one way that FindLaw is able to further foster these relationships and stay educated on the latest legal topics. Given the changes to this practice area in the past few years, the annual National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Convention represents the perfect opportunity to understand the unique needs of bankruptcy law and ultimately better serve our clients.

The NACBA Convention is expected to draw close to 800 attorneys from across the country. Founded in 1972, the convention will take place from April 15-17th at the Marriott Wardman Park, in Washington, D.C.

With over 20 educational sessions taking place, the NACBA conference will provide a comprehensive assortment of bankruptcy topics ranging from marital issues in bankruptcy, bankruptcy crimes and criminal referrals, the chapter 13 liquidation test and chapter 7 and 13 strategies. Some sessions will also be tailored specifically for experienced bankruptcy attorneys, providing advanced materials relating to the latest in consumer bankruptcy issues.

Attending conferences such as the NACBA is one of the reasons that FindLaw is able to provide such effective marketing strategies to their clients. The NACBA boasts over 4,000 members in the United States and Puerto Rico and is the only national organization dedicated to serving the needs of consumer bankruptcy attorneys and protecting the rights of consumer debtors in bankruptcy. Members of the organization also serve as the leading voice against anti-debtor legislation in Congress.

FindLaw looks forward to participating in what is sure to be an educational convention.
