August 2012 Archives

Summer is coming to a close, and for lawyers nationwide, it’s been a successful season of legal conventions. Many have earned much-needed CLE credits and connected with colleagues. But there still more conventions and conferences to be held this year, and FindLaw will be in attendance as always.

FindLaw attends the most important legal gatherings for a good reason: to interact with legal professionals. It is a great way for us to meet face-to-face with our current and potential customers.

That’s why FindLaw will attend this year’s Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles Annual Convention (CAALA) - billed as the nation’s largest trial lawyer convention.

While it seems that most Americans have an opinion about the Court, it doesn’t mean that they’re familiar with the people behind the bench. A recent FindLaw.com survey found that 66 percent of Americans can’t name a single Supreme Court justice, and only one percent can name all nine.
