Prison breaks are a popular topic for Hollywood television and film. So when actual prisoners break out of an actual prison, it is no wonder that the media follows the every move of the police and fugitives. On July 30th, three inmates escaped the Arizona prison where they were serving long terms for varying sentences. Police have now caught the second prison escapee, and are hot on the trail of the third. Photos of the fugitives have been publicized on television, in newpapers, and as part of long-running crime show, "America's Most Wanted."

Daniel Renwick, Tracy Province, and John McCluskey were able to escape from the medium-security Arizona prison by cutting through the fence. The three men later hijacked two semi-trucks at gunpoint to get away. McCluskey's cousin and fiancé, Casslyn Welch, is believed to have thrown cutters over the fence, and is still be with the lone fugitive somewhere in Yellowstone National Park, attempting to make their way to Canada. The three men and Welch will all face additional charges for the criminal activity stemming from their prison break.

The forty-two year old Province was serving a life sentence for murder and robbery, reports the NY Daily News. After 11 days on the run, police were able to track Province to Meeteetsee, Wyoming after a local woman recognized him from news broadcasts. Province will join fellow prison escapee Renwick, who was captured in Colorado a couple days after the escape. Renwick was serving two consecutive 22-year sentences for second-degree murder.

There is a $40,000 reward for McCluskey and Welch, who are also connected to a double murder in New Mexico. U.S. Marshal David Gonzales is quoted by ABC News: "They consider themselves as Bonnie and Clyde. This is very, very serious business...Rest assured, we are going to get McCluskey like a cheap suit." Let's hope these dangerous lovers get caught sooner than later.
