'Melrose Place' Actress Amy Locane Charged with Vehicular Homicide

Amy Locane-Bovenizer's fatal car crash, killing the passenger of another car, wasn't in the script for the former "Melrose Place" actress who was formally charged with vehicular homicide.

Amy Locane-Bovenizer, an original cast member from television's "Melrose Place," is accused of drunken driving in New Jersey where she struck the passenger side of a car turning into a driveway, the New Jersey Star-Ledger reports.

Stephanie Seymour Skips Court Ordered Drug Test

Here is one of those things that is so obvious, you would think it just wouldn't be worth mentioning. Seems though, it bears repeating. If you are in the middle of a contentious divorce and/or custody battle, do not miss a court ordered drug test. Even if you are on the beach in St. Barts and it just kinda slipped your mind.

Supermodel Stephanie Seymour, in the middle of a major custody fight with ex-husband business mogul Peter Brant, was ordered by the court to undergo a mandatory drug test. Unfortunately, Seymour decided to emulate actress Lindsay Lohan, and couldn't make it in to court due to the fact she was on vacation with two of her children. Seymour claims that she did not see the emails from her (also now ex-) lawyer, presumably reminding her she had a court-ordered tests to perform.

Sandra Bullock / Jesse James Divorce Finalized

It is done.

The divorce between Sandra Bullock and Jesse James is final. She will be starting a new life as a single mother, after the pair adopted a 3½-month-old baby boy Louis Bardo Bullock.

Documents were signed and the pair filed papers under seal in Texas to finalize their divorce after their nearly five-year marriage, TMZ reports.

Motley Crue's Vince Neil Arrested for DUI

The timing could not have been worse for Motely Crue singer Vince Neil who was arrested on suspicion of DUI as he is set to release a new CD, and memoir, titled Tattoos and Tequila.

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was arrested on drinking and driving charges in Las Vegas, MTV News reports.

The singer was taken to Clark County Jail with bail set at $2,000. No other details are available, except that it was accident related. It is unknown whether any injuries were involved.

Michael Vick Co-Defendant Shot Outside of Club, Vick Not Involved

After completing his sentence for a state dogfighting conviction, Michael Vick has managed to avoid getting into trouble and being caught at the wrong time and the wrong place.

In fact, Michael Vick's lawyer says he was not involved or present when a shooting took place outside a nightclub where he had celebrated his birthday recently, the Associated Press reports.

'Bling Ring' Member Alexis Neiers Surrenders, Begins Jail Time

"Pretty Wild" reality star Alexis Neiers turned herself into authorities for her alleged role in the celebrity "Bling Ring" case.

Alexis Neiers, 18, pleaded no contest to first-degree residential burglary last month in the "Bling Ring" case and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Hollywood Hills burglars, mostly 18 and 19 year-olds, are known as the "Bling Ring." The case garnered much media attention because of the celebrity victims.

Now, this is the part where it may get "pretty wild" as the young reality TV star will be leaving her upscale neighborhood of Calabasas to begin her six-month jail term.

Gore Accused of Sexual Misconduct in 2006

The temperature may be rising for former Vice President Al Gore who was accused by a massage therapist of sexual misconduct.

The woman contacted police in late 2006, after her alleged "unwanted sexual contact" with Al Gore who was in Portland, OR to deliver a speech on climate change, the Associated Press reports.

The Oregon woman claims she was sexually attacked by Gore at a hotel where he tried to have sex with her during a massage appointment.

Although she contacted police in 2006, she refused to be interviewed by detectives and did not want the investigation to proceed.

Mariah Carey Sued Over Unpaid Vet Bills

Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ, three Jack Russell terriers were given "extraordinary services" according to a breach of contract lawsuit filed against pop star Mariah Carey for alleged unpaid pet bills.

A New York veterinarian Cindy Bressler sued singer Mariah Carey for a $30,000 bill racked up during a month of care while Mariah was in L.A. promoting "Precious," PopEater reports.

Owen Hart's Widow Suing WWE for Using Pro Wrestler's Image

The widow of professional wrestler Owen Hart is upset about a new DVD called "Hart and Soul Anthology" and has filed an intellectual property lawsuit.

Owen Hart was killed in a live televised stunt in 1999. His widow, Martha Hart, is suing World Wrestling Entertainment and its former CEO, Linda McMahon, who happens to be the Republican nominee for Senate in the state of Connecticut, the Associated Press reports.

Rapper Fat Joe Questioned in Sexual Assault Case

Wisconsin police are still investigating an alleged sexual assault case involving rapper Fat Joe.

Rapper Fat Joe, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena and members of his entourage were questioned by the Wisconsin police about allegations made by an unidentified 33-year-old local woman who claims she was inappropriately touched by the rap star and his crew during a limo ride after a concert, MTV News reports.

Devon James Files Paternity Action against Golfer Tiger Woods

Establishing a championship winning game at the U.S. Open this week in Pebble Beach may be the least of worries for golfer Tiger Woods.

Porn star and alleged mistress Devon James has filed a paternity action suit to prove golfer Tiger Woods, 34, is the father of her nine-year-old son, Austin Brinling, Radar online reports.

The court papers are a way to legally establish who is the father of the child and ascertain parental responsibility and child support of the minor.

According to court papers filed, Devon James is requesting for a judge to name Woods, 34, as the legal father of Brinling. The papers were filed using James' real name, Melinda Jannette, and Tiger's legal name, Elderick Woods.

Suge Knight and Kanye West Arrange Closed Door Meeting

After a six-hour closed door meeting the legal battle remains heated between Hip-hop mogul Marion "Suge" Knight and Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye West.

The two hip hop heavy weights faced off over an incident at a Miami Beach party hosted by Kanye West in 2005 where an unknown gunman shot Suge Knight in the leg, the Associated Press reports.

Second DUI Case for Actor Chris Klein

It is the second time around for "American Pie" actor Chris Klein, who is now involved in another DUI case. 

Early on Wednesday, June 16, actor Chris Klein was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

According to authorities, Klein was stopped by police for suspected DUI after he was spotted driving erratically on the Hollywood Highway in Sherman Oaks, Ca, the Associated Press reports.

Blogger Perez Hilton Backpedals in Miley Cyrus Flap

Blogger Perez Hilton is facing potential legal trouble for allegedly posting an explicit photo of 17 year-old Miley Cyrus, supposedly taken when the pop star was climbing out of a car. The photo apparently shows Cyrus without underwear. This wouldn't be the first time that Hilton has posted up-skirt photos of celebrities; he has posted up-skirt shots of Britney Spears in the past. But this time, the difference is that Cyrus is underage.

The latest buzz shows Hilton backpedaling, claiming that Cyrus was clearly wearing underwear. Perez has now released a video statement to answer to the widespread accusations and criticism. Hilton stated, "I like to be controversial...but I don't want to go to jail," adding that Cyrus was not exhibiting any nudity. 

Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria Faces Breach of Contract Lawsuit

Star of "Desperate Housewives," Eva Longoria Parker, is facing a breach of contract lawsuit over her Las Vegas restaurant Beso.

Actress Eva Longoria Parker is being sued by a married couple, the restaurant's managers, who were fired and accused of financial shenanigans, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Ronen and Mali Nachum filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Langoria Parker claiming she and other business partners used scare tactics to push them out of their jobs and share of the restaurant.

According to Eva Longoria's reps the allegations are "untrue, and without merit" and the actress is planning to counter sue.

Judge: Jackson Doctor Can Keep CA State Medical License

A judge has sided with Dr. Conrad Murray and decided to allow the celebrity physician to keep his California state medical license.

Dr. Conrad Murray was the personal physician charged with involuntary manslaughter in the King of Pop's death. Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor refused to ban the doctor from practicing in the state and ruled that he did not have the authority to revoke the doctor's medical license, the Associated Press reports.

As previously discussed, CA Attorney General Jerry Brown filed a petition with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on behalf of the California Medical Board to revoke Murray's license.

Alleged Ryan Seacrest Stalker Gets Maximum Prison Sentence

Ryan Seacrest may be able to rest a little bit easier knowing that his stalker was handed down a maximum two year prison sentence.

A judge sentenced Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. to a maximum sentence in state prison after pleading no contest to stalking E! and "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, the Associated Press reports.

Uzomah Jr. also recently completed a 90-day psychiatric evaluation. In addition to his two year prison sentence, the 26-year-old has been ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from Seacrest for 10 years.

Nevada Supreme Court Hears OJ Simpson Appeal

O.J. Simpson is looking to get his conviction from a 2007 hotel room heist overturned as his lawyers gave arguments before the Nevada Supreme Court.

His defense team argued that O.J. Simpson's conviction for a robbery and kidnapping was flawed because of procedural errors in his 2008 trial, the Associated Press reports. 

Rap Producer Dr. Dre Loses Lawsuit against Death Row Records

A judge tossed out a lawsuit by rap producer Dr. Dre claiming that his former label, Death Row Records, violated his rights of trademark and publicity by releasing a new version of his iconic album "The Chronic."

In analyzing the case, California District Court Judge Christina Snyder ruled that the alterations to the album were "minor and inconsequential." In addition, the image used on the cover jacket is the same photograph from the original album, instead of a more current photo, which may have implied Dr. Dre's endorsement. Specifically, the judge weighed the question of whether the changes to Dr. Dre's album were more than "cosmetic."

Judge: Lohan Violated Alcohol Monitor, Doubles Bail Amount

A judge determined that Lindsay Lohan violated terms of her release from the results of a court-ordered alcohol monitor and doubled the actress' bail to $200,000.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel did not reveal the exact details of the alcohol related violation, the Associated Press reports.

As previously discussed, Lohan appeared at the MTV awards recently when the alcohol monitoring bracelet alarm went off, alerting the device maker monitoring company.

Plea Agreement for Charlie Sheen Calls for Theater Internship

A plea agreement for Charlie Sheen calls for the star of CBS's "Two and a Half Men," to participate in a theater internship and for him to teach acting classes.

Actor Charlie Sheen entered a guilty plea to charges stemming from a Christmas Day domestic dispute in Aspen, Colorado with his wife Brooke Mueller, CNN reports. 

Under the plea agreement, Sheen would serve a 30-day jail sentence and serve three months probation. He would also intern at a community theater during the day as part of a work release program and then spend his nights as a jail inmate.

Dodgers and Jon Lovitz Resolve Breach of Contract Lawsuit

Looks like, the Los Angeles Dodgers and comedian Jon Lovitz have kissed and made up after a breach of contract lawsuit.

The baseball club says the funnyman Jon Lovitz is a friend and welcome back at the stadium any time.

Recently, the Dodgers resolved their breach of contract lawsuit against Lovitz over nearly $100,000 in unpaid 2010 season baseball tickets, the Associated Press reports.

Pop Artist Ke$ha Faces Breach of Contract Lawsuit

Pop artist Ke$ha is being sued for millions by her former mangers, claiming that she failed to honor a commission deal.

Ke$ha is now facing a $14 million breach of contract lawsuit as New York-based firm DAS Communications Inc, claims that the pop artist signed a contract in 2006 agreeing to pay a commission for helping her to land a major recording contract, the Associated Press reports.

The former managers say that the singer squeezed them out of her career under pressure from hit song writer Dr. Luke. Ke$ha, who had the No. 1 song in the country with "TiK ToK" earlier this year.

Beyonce Sued for Trespassing During a Video Shoot

A Hollywood Hills resident is suing Beyonce Knowles for nuisance and trespassing while filming her video "Why Don't You Love Me."

Apparently for Philip Markowitz, the answer to that question is fairly simple and outlined in a lawsuit claiming that his privacy was invaded by unnecessary noise and crowds during her video shoot, the Associated Press reports.

Markowitz filed the lawsuit seeking $25,000 and claims his expectations of privacy in his upscale neighborhood were destroyed when a film crew invaded his neighborhood at 7 a.m. on March 26 for a video shoot.

Deep in the Heart of TX: Chace Crawford Busted for Pot

Oh, to be at home in Plano, TX. That might have been what Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford was thinking, right up until the moment he got busted for alleged pot possession. The luxurious environs of the Upper East side couldn't hold a candle to reportedly hanging out in a car in front of Ringo's Pub in the wee small hours of the morning, which is where and when officers reportedly detained Crawford.

According to reports, the police allegedly found less than 2 ounces of marijuana in Crawford's possession (TMZ reports it was actually one unlit joint). Fortunately for the actor, this is a misdemeanor-sized amount in the Lone Star State. Unfortunately, the Class-B misdemeanor still carries the potential for a maximum of 180 days in jail and a fine of up to $2,000.

Wrongful Termination Suit Dropped Against Kobe Bryant and Wife

A wrongful termination suit against Los Angeles Lakers super star Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa, has been dropped.

The couple has reached a settlement after his former housekeeper dropped a wrongful termination lawsuit, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa countersued their ex-housekeeper Maria Jimenez for allegedly breaking a confidentiality agreement and talking to the media about her work with the family. However, recently both parties have dismissed their respective complaints against each other, according to Times.

Charlie Sheen Domestic Violence Case Assigned New Court Date

The domestic violence case involving actor Charlie Sheen and his wife is continuing with settlement talks and a new court date has been set.

As previously discussed, Charlie Sheen pleaded not guilty to one felony and two misdemeanor charges stemming from a Christmas Day domestic dispute in Aspen, Colorado with his wife Brooke Mueller.

Gene Simmons: Kiss Star Not Charged in Alleged Assault Case

The charges were dropped against KISS star Gene Simmons in an alleged assault case.

Prosecutors say there is not enough evidence to bring an assault case against the 60-year-old musician, who was involved in an incident with a couple last year at an upscale outdoor mall in Los Angeles, the Associated Press reports.

Carly Simon Files New Suit against Starbucks Coffee Chain

Singer Carly Simon has filed a second lawsuit against Starbucks over the decision by the coffee chain to get out of the music business just days before her album was set to be released in stores.

The new suit filed by Carly Simon comes on the heels of her original suit which a judge shot down, saying she didn't have a direct contract with Starbucks and that she failed to show how the company made any fraudulent misrepresentations, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Jackson Doctor Bid to Resolve Child Support Issues Rejected

A California Court has rejected a bid by Dr. Conrad Murray, the former personal physician to Michael Jackson, to resolve a child support issue.

A Santa Clara County Superior Court commissioner rejected Dr. Conrad Murray's child support deal to relieve him of an obligation to pay about $16,000 in back child support to the mother of his 12-year-old son, the Associated Press reports.

DUI Case: Actress Joyce Dewitt Pleads No Contest

Actress Joyce DeWitt of "Three's Company" fame will go it alone facing probation in a DUI case.

The 61-year-old sitcom actress Joyce DeWitt pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor drunk driving incident from last year, the Los Angeles Times reports.
