Since June 19, former Real World troublemaker Puck, arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence, has been living the high life in a Los Angeles County jail, unable to post a $30,000 bond before his July 6 court date.

Known only for his title as one of the most obnoxious and contentious reality television personalities of all time, Puck, born David Rainey, has a long history of run-ins with the law.

And most of them also seem to involve domestic violence.

Since he came to fame in 1994, it's been clear that Puck is blessed with an uncontrollable temper. Indeed, his stint on the Real World started with a trip to jail, and was peppered by offensive incident after offensive incident.

In 2003, he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, but was not charged, reports the Los Angeles Times. And then in 2009, he served a year behind bars after pleading no contest to battering his girlfriend.

And last year, he was arrested for driving under the influence after he flipped his car.

His son was with him.

It's likely that these incidents will come into play when determining whether to charge him with a felony or misdemeanor, as well as during the sentencing phase of the proceedings.

In fact, California law increases punishment for domestic violence charges if the defendant has a prior domestic violence conviction within the last 7 years.

Puck, arrested for domestic violence for a third time, will likely fall into this category, as pleading no contest to the 2009 charges can be considered a conviction.
