Police say the 82-year-old actor was acting in self defense, so it's unlikely that Hackman will face criminal charges.

The Academy Award winning actor reportedly owns a home in the Sante Fe area, and the homeless man had become aggressive towards Hackman and his wife, writes The Associated Press.

Kardashians to be Sued Over Cheap Khroma Beauty Make-Up Line?

Should the Kardashian clan prepare for another lawsuit?

The Kardashians have come up with a new makeup line called Khroma Beauty.

The makeup will apparently contain all the class of the Kardashians and will be sold at such fine establishments as CVS, Sears, and Ulta, reports TMZ.

But a high-end Beverly Hills retailer already uses a similar name for his makeup brand -- Chroma Makeup -- and he's expressed concern that the Kardashians' "cheap" product will drive his customers away.

Hulk Hogan, Bubba the Love Sponge Settle Sex-Tape Lawsuit

Hulk Hogan has settled his lawsuit against Bubba the Love Sponge Clem.

Hogan had sued Bubba, a radio personality, over a leaked sex tape of the former pro wrestler having sex with the Love Sponge's ex-wife Heather Clem.

The terms of the settlement are confidential, but following the settlement, the Love Sponge issued a public apology on his radio show. In his apology, the Love Sponge said that Hogan was unaware that he was being recorded and had no role in the video's public release, reports The Tampa Tribune.

Tom Cruise Sues Magazines for Saying He Abandoned Suri

Tom Cruise has filed a $50 million lawsuit against Life & Style and In Touch magazines for publishing stories that he abandoned his 6-year-old daughter Suri.

Over the summer, following Cruise's divorce from Katie Holmes, celebrity magazines ran a flurry of articles speculating about the divorce and the fallout. In one story, Life & Style reportedly ran a story with the headline "Suri in Tears: Abandoned by Her Dad," reports Examiner.com.

In Touch also ran a story that proclaimed Suri was "Abandoned by Daddy," according to TMZ. Both magazines are owned by Bauer Publishing, TMZ reports.

His Prerogative: Bobby Brown Busted for DUI, Again

Bobby Brown was arrested for a DUI early this morning when a police cruiser reportedly spotted his car weaving around lanes in the Los Angeles area.

The singer and former Mr. Whitney Houston allegedly smelled of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test, reports E! Online.

Brown was taken into police custody and booked at a nearby police station. He was placed behind bars and $25,000 bail was set.

Given that Brown was already on probation for driving under the influence earlier this year, the entertainer may want to get used to that feeling of being behind bars.

Dish Network to Pay $700M to AMC, 'Breaking Bad,' 'Mad Men' Back

Dish Network reached a $700 million settlement in the lawsuit brought against it by Cablevision and AMC Networks.

Fans of Mad Men and Breaking Bad can rejoice as that means that the Dish blackout of AMC has ended, and they can continue following the likes of Walter White and Don Draper.

The AMC channel should have resumed on the Dish Network earlier this week and other AMC networks like the Sundance Channel, WE tv and IFC, will return to on November 1, reports Reuters.

Samuel L. Jackson Called 'New Uncle Tom' in Political Ad

Samuel L. Jackson made a political statement by supporting the Obama campaign but he never expected to be called the 'New Uncle Tom' for doing it.

Randall Terry, a man so ambitious he's running both for President and for Congress representing Florida, went after Jackson with an ad that accuses Jackson of supporting racists. The ads also make specific claims about the organizations Jackson supports.

He's also gone so far as to call Jackson the 'New Uncle Tom' for allegedly supporting racists.

Not one to take insults lightly, Jackson has sent Terry a letter through his attorney asking him to take the ads and a website Terry owns called www.UncleTomJackson.com. But Terry's not backing down.

'Housewives' Sheree Whitfield Reaches Child Support Settlement

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield has secured a $75,000 child support settlement from her ex-husband Bob Whitfield.

The drama over the child support payments has been publicly played out on the hit reality television series. In one Real Housewives episode, fellow cast member Phaedra Parks even represented Sheree Whitfield in court against her ex-husband.

Bob Whitfield was ordered to pay $81,000 in back child support. Along with the settlement amount, the former Atlanta Falcon was also ordered to pay $1,000 installments to fulfill the missed payments as well as paying Sheree $2,142 in ongoing payments, reports the Examiner.

Conservator Sought for Lindsay Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan's father will reportedly seek a conservator for his daughter.

Last week, Michael Lohan tried to orchestrate an informal intervention for his troubled daughter. The father reportedly worked in conjunction with Lindsay Lohan's lawyers and manager in an attempt to stop the troubled actress' alleged drug and alcohol abuse.

But Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned away her father at the door and then called the cops, reports Fox News. Now Michael Lohan is planning to go to court and seek a conservatorship for Lindsay.

Flavor Flav Injured, Arrested in Domestic Dispute

Rap and reality television star Flavor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas following a strange domestic dispute.

Police were called to Flavor Flav's house at about 3:30 in the morning, after the rapper had an altercation with his fiancee of eight years, Elizabeth Trujillo, and her 17-year-old son, reports CNN.

The rapper and his fiancee started to argue after allegations that Flavor Flav was cheating, according to a police domestic battery report. The argument reportedly turned physical as Flavor Flav allegedly threw his fiancee to the ground several times. That's when Trujillo's son got involved and things got really interesting.

Chief Keef's Probation Violation: Rapper May Head Back to Jail

Prosecutors want rapper Chief Keef back in jail for allegedly violating the terms of his probation.

The Chicago-based rapper may have no one to blame but himself, after giving a video interview with music site Pitchfork at a gun range. In the interview, prosecutors say that you can see Chief Keef carrying a gun, reports Rolling Stone.

Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, is currently serving 18 months probation for pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer. His probation reportedly prevents him from carrying guns, illegal drugs, and associating with gangs. The rapper is also required to earn a GED per the terms of his probation.

Alexis Wright's Zumba Brothel Outs Ex-Mayor, Lawyer, Businessmen

Alexis Wright's client list from her Zumba studio turned brothel has been published and includes several prominent Maine citizens. Suffice to say, a lot of men in Kennebunk are feeling uneasy today.

As part of the investigation and trial against Alexis Wright, police released a list of her alleged prostitution clients on Tuesday. The full list purportedly contains 150 names but only 21 were released since those are the people involved in the court case.

But the short list still contains some important names in the community, including that of the former mayor of South Portland, a lawyer, and a local businessman.

'Bachelor' Lawsuit Dismissed: Producers Protected by 1st Amendment

Two black men brought a lawsuit against ABC's The Bachelor charging that the show discriminated against men of color.

A federal judge dismissed the case and said that the casting decisions by the producers of the show were protected by the First Amendment.

The judge did call the lawsuit brought by Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson as "laudable," but said that the plaintiffs had no right to regulate the show's content, reports Fox News.

A Three 6 Mafia rapper with a Taser? Doesn't sound like national criminal news does it? But it is, when Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul got arrested in New York City last night for allegedly carrying a Taser.

The Academy Award-winning rapper was reportedly leaving a restaurant while carrying an open container of beer.

The rapper walked by two cops who confronted him about the beer, and DJ Paul apparently told the cops that he was also carrying the Taser, reports TMZ. DJ Paul was placed under arrest and put behind bars.

Stan Lee Media has filed a lawsuit against Disney for copyright infringement but it's unclear whether that claim will go anywhere.

The first amusing fact of this case is that Stan Lee himself is no longer associated with Stan Lee Media. In fact, the comic book legend has been the victim of a lawsuit by the company. The second is that a similar suit by Stan Lee Media filed in New York was dismissed in 2009.

The actual issue goes back to 1998 when Lee was still affiliated with Stan Lee Media. But the recent success of Lee's characters has reignited the fight.

Bow Wow Sued for Repossessed Orange Lamborghini

Rapper Bow Wow is being sued by a Georgia bank for the costs of repossessing and auctioning his Lamborghini Murcielago.

The former child rapper and current host of 106 & Park allegedly took out a business loan for $300,165 to purchase the sports car. Bow Wow agreed to pay $4,730 a month for 84 months to pay off the vehicle. The rapper allegedly quickly began defaulting on payments and the car was repossessed and auctioned off, reports The Urban Daily.

However, that was not the end of it. SunTrust Bank in Georgia is now claiming it spent $25,000 in repossessing and auctioning the car, and it wants that money from Bow Wow. Basically, the bank is claiming repossession fees worth roughly the same amount as a new Honda Accord.

Nelly's Tour Bus Busted with 10 Pounds of Pot, Heroin

Authorities at a West Texas border checkpoint say they've found a significant amount of drugs and a gun on rapper Nelly's tour bus.

Nelly pleads that he knew nothing about the drugs and he was not charged. Instead, one of his staff members admitted to owning the drugs and gun and was arrested, reports The Associated Press.

The arrest happened at a border checkpoint near Sierra Blanca. You may have heard of this particular checkpoint before because other celebrities have famously been busted there; including, Willie Nelson, Snoop Dog, Fiona Apple, and Armie Hammer, reports the AP.

Bubba the Love Sponge Liable for Hulk Hogan Sex Tape?

Hulk Hogan's sex tape is floating around and his best friend, radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge, may be responsible for it.

What makes this story even more bizarre is that the person Hogan is having relations with in the video is allegedly Heather Clem, Bubba the Love Sponge's wife.

Hogan has come out and said that he had no knowledge that he was being filmed while having sex. And the sex tape may vindicate Hogan. After the deed is done and Hogan leaves, Bubba the Love Sponge reportedly appears in the video and tells his wife, "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage," reports TMZ.

After a 30-year marriage and 42-year relationship, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have announced they are separating.

DeVito and Perlman formed a rare Hollywood couple, both making successful careers for themselves as entertainers while maintaining a family and raising three children. The two even co-starred on Cheers.

Hulk Hogan Threatens to Sue Over Sex Tape

Hulk Hogan is reportedly threatening to sue the website Gawker for posting a minute-long clip of his alleged sex tape online. The Hulk Hogan sex tape has been rumored to be in existence for some time, but it was not until yesterday that the video hit the Internet.

Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, does not appear to deny the authenticity of the sex tape, but instead says that the video was taken without his knowledge or permission, reports TMZ.

The celebrity gossip site also reports that Hogan's lawyers are currently drafting a cease-and-desist letter, and that the pro wrestler will sue Gawker and anyone else who posts the tape online.

No Doubt Settles Lawsuit w/ 'Band Hero' Maker

Popular music band No Doubt settled its lawsuit with video game maker Activision over use of the band members' likenesses in the game Band Hero.

The lawsuit had nothing to do with using virtual images of Gwen Stefani and other members of No Doubt to sing Just a Girl or Don't Speak. Instead, the lawsuit centered around the use of No Doubt members to virtually sing hit songs from other bands.

The group claimed that this feature in the game turned them into a "virtual karaoke circus act," reports Rolling Stone. In their lawsuit, the band sued Activision for fraud, violation of publicity rights, and breach of contract.

Sean Kingston lost a lawsuit brought by his former Miami landlord. A court ordered the rapper/reggae star to pay almost $78,000 for trashing the rental home.

The landlord claimed that Kingston trashed the Miami Beach rental. The rapper allegedly broke showers, dock railings, put holes in the walls, and even messed up landscaping, reports Gossip Extra. Kingston also allegedly walked away from $50,000 worth of unpaid rent.

What did Kingston have to say for himself? Well, we don't know. That's because Kingston never responded to the lawsuit and was even fired by his former lawyer, reports Gossip Extra. The court reportedly entered a default judgment against Kingston.

Eric Dane Sues Neighbor Billy Corgan Over Fallen Tree

Actor Eric Dane is suing Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan over a fallen tree that smashed into Dane's house.

Dane and Corgan are apparently neighbors in Beverly Hills, Calif. During a storm in December, a giant tree on Corgan's property toppled onto Dane's house. The "McSteamy" actor claims the tree almost killed his very pregnant wife, actress Rebecca Geyheart, reports ABC News.

The fallen tree set off a sprinkler system that allegedly flooded the house. It also snapped power lines that could have potentially exposed live wire to water, Dane's lawsuit states.

Lil Scrappy Arrested for Probation Violation

Lil Scrappy was arrested in Georgia for allegedly violating the terms of his probation.

The 28-year-old rapper, known for his 2006 hit "Money in the Bank," is a cast member on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta." He was booked and taken to DeKalb County jail, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The probation violation reportedly stemmed from a 2008 marijuana conviction, for which Lil Scrappy was sentenced to five years' probation. The terms of his probation required Scrappy to stay away from alcohol and illegal drugs.

Lindsay Lohan's Alleged Attacker Will Not Face Charges

A Congressional staffer accused by Lindsay Lohan of attacking her in a hotel room will not face charges. Christian LaBella, 25, an aide to Illinois Rep. John Shimkus, has been released from custody and his arrest will be voided, police told Fox News.

LaBella and Lohan allegedly got into an altercation over cell phone photos of the actress. Judging from LaBella's Facebook page, the man is a fanboy who likes getting his picture taken with celebs, Fox News reports.

However, Lohan apparently thought that LaBella was intruding in her private space with pictures of the actress partying, and the two got into a tussle. During the argument, Lohan accused LaBella of choking her. The cops were called and LaBella was taken into custody.
