'That's So Raven' Star Orlando Brown Gets Arrested in Las Vegas by Bounty Hunters

It feels like a long way from 'That's So Raven' stardom to arrested by a bounty hunter named Lucky while hiding in your underwear in a Las Vegas closet, but it apparently only takes 11 years and a few arrests.

Orlando Brown, ex-costar of the hit Disney series and a slew of other television shows and movies as a child actor, was nabbed for skipping a court appearance on domestic battery charges. And video of the arrest is pretty extreme.

Not so Lucky

As reported by TMZ, bounty hunters entered the Las Vegas home of a man, allegedly harboring Brown as a favor to a music producer neighbor, against the home owner's will. Lucky told TMZ he had a warrant for Brown's arrest, and therefore could enter the home and take Brown by force. (The fact that bounty hunters are not police officers appears to give them more legal latitude when pursuing criminal defendants rather than less.)

After a lot of screaming, Brown is tracked down in an upstairs closet, clad in a t-shirt and boxers. Whoever is behind the body camera in the footage obtained by TMZ apparently likes to repeatedly yell things like "Show me your hands" while Brown's hands are already in cuffs, and "Tell me your name" despite Brown having no legal responsibility to do so:

That's so Orlando

As noted above, this is not Mr. Brown's first run-in with the law. The alleged incident in 2016 with his girlfriend involved an argument in a car, for which he was charged with domestic battery and obstruction of justice, and possession of methamphetamine, for which he was charged with drug possession with intent to sell and having contraband in jail. In 2014, according to TMZ, he struck a plea deal and paid a fine for threatening a woman. And in 2018, he was arrested and charged with battery against a spouse, resisting a peace officer, and possession of a controlled substance following a family dispute.
