FindLaw on Pinterest: Yep, We do That Too

By Laura Strachan, Esq. on May 06, 2013 1:01 PM

When life gets legal, there's FindLaw. We have been saying it for years -- the law really does touch almost every area of your life, even if you don't want it to! Sometimes it is obvious and sometimes it is subtle. And perhaps our latest social network really helps to prove this point....Pinterest!

That's right, FindLaw.com has joined the dynamic Pinterest community to bring our consumer followers both legal and nonlegal tips in an oh-so-pretty fashion. Like all of the networks we join, our goal is to create a legal presence that is both helpful and enjoyable for the users on that network.

When it comes to Pinterest, that meant researching the community and working with our in-house design team to create boards that were not only aesthetically pleasing, but also led to great content. We looked hard at how the Pinterest community shared their ideas, and then made it work for our legal resources.

Take our Wedding Time board for example … we know that Pinterest is a popular spot for brides (and grooms) to find inspiration. But did you know there are a lot of legal issues that couples should consider along the way? Sprinkled within our beautiful wedding board filled with images of weddings, rings and dresses, are the other details to remember. Our wedding board has legal tips including legal issues to remember for destination weddings and what happens to an engagement ring in a broken engagement.

Updated multiple times per week, there will always be a new pin or board for you to explore. We hope you follow our Pinterest page and begin exploring and sharing all the everyday legal tips we have to share with you! Happy pinning everyone!
