FindLaw Takes Summer Break at Annual Picnic

By Brett Snider, Esq. on September 02, 2014 3:59 PM

Everyone needs a break during the hot and busy summer months, even our dedicated staff. Last Wednesday, FindLaw employees and contractors participated in our annual summer picnic/BBQ, and this year proved to be a real hit!

Check out some of the fun festivities FindLaw employees took part in during this year's FindLaw picnic.

No Such Thing As Too Much Food

It wouldn't be a summer picnic without an ample spread, and FindLaw employees had more than enough nosh options to choose from. And you know we love our good eats. Following up on last year, our writers and engineers sunk their teeth into some mouthwatering BBQ (catered by the incomparable Andy's Bar-b-que).

There were also vegetarian options provided by the equally delicious Dish n Dash.

Truth, Lies, and Volleyball

Picnic attendees also were able to try their luck at fooling their coworkers in a massive game of Two Truths and a Lie. As Insider readers may remember from the FindLaw Pingpong tourney, our staff is a bit competitive. However, after many arguments over the interpretation of the rules (when lawyers play games, right?) and numerous tie-breakers, only one team was victorious and claimed their prizes.

Not ready to give up the competition, many of our FindLaw team moved to the next game: volleyball. It's uncertain how many games were played, but check out this awesome action shot:

Spike! As summer comes to a close, we hope you had a chance to let your hair down like our team did.
