Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
FindLaw.com is certainly the most knowledgeable source for legal information on these here interwebs, but where did we get all this legal knowledge from? Easy: Wikipedia.
Almost all of us amassed our considerable legal expertise in law school, while the others are just that smart. Here's a little rundown of the institutions to which FindLaw's best and brightest owe mountains of law school debt.
Golden State of Legal Minds
As you can imagine for a legal website with offices in Silicon Valley, most of FindLaw's staff graduated from California law schools. More specifically, Bay Area schools were the most represented in our Sunnyvale locale.
University of San Francisco School of Law boasts three alumni: Business Lead for Caselaw & Codes Andrew Zangrilli, Social & Community Marketing Lead Laura Strachan, and Product Manager for Online Advertising Javier Lavagnino. And both Managing Editor Tanya Roth and Editor and Team Lead for Core Content Corey Licht graduated from University of California's Hastings College of Law. Also from a San Francisco school is Senior Writer for Legal Professional Blogs Mark Wilson, who hails from Golden Gate University's College of Law.
Senior Writer Annie O'Donnell graduated from University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, while Manager of Proprietary Sites Stephanie Rahlfs' alma mater is a longer drive down the coast: University of San Diego's School of Law.
The lone non-California law school grads are Senior Writer for Core Content Adam Ramirez and I. Adam graduated from University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law in Tucson, and I attended the furthest law school from our future home of employment: University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder.
And not all of us went to law school. Senior Writer for Consumer Content Steve Tanner graduated from Westminster College in Missouri and worked as a journalist before getting his paralegal degree from De Anza College around the corner in Cupertino. While Stephen Chang, our Social Network Specialist, got his business administration degree from Los Angeles's Loyola Marymount University.
We're a diverse team bringing our varied legal backgrounds with us to create the best consumer and legal professional content on the web, and the native Californians are pretty nice to us newcomers now that we've seen the light.
