Christopher Paul Silga was drunk and asleep on a couch cuddling a teddy bear.

The problem? He was in the house of a couple he did not know, and who did not know him.

The Mississippi Press reports that a couple was shocked when they awoke to a drunken man they had never met asleep on their couch, snuggling with a teddy bear.

At this point, it's a toss up between which is more embarrassing... a grown man sleeping with a teddy bear or doing it while passed out on someone else's couch?

According to police, Sigla apparently thought he was at his girlfriend's home, but had in fact walked through the front door of the couple's home and then gone to sleep.

Sigla, 34, was charged with trespassing and driving under the influence (after an attempted getaway).

Reports showed that the  homeowners called authorities after asking Silga who he was and then pushing him out of the front door and down the steps.

The couple told authorities that the stranger snoozing on their couch was "very intoxicated" and appeared "spaced out."

Responding officers spotted Silga driving his dark blue Chevrolet Silverado, weaving in and out of traffic. He also plowed down a row of mailboxes, police said.

According to reports, Sigla told officers he had been drinking two large Crown Royal and cokes mixed drinks.

Silga was unable to stand without losing his balance, his speech was slurred and his eyes dilated, said the deputy at the scene.

Silga took a field sobriety test but refused to take a breath-analysis test, which registers a person's blood-alcohol content.

Silga was charged with trespassing, and driving under the influence. He was taken to the Jackson County jail and later released on a $1,000 bond.
