Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
It's almost the holidays, meaning children nationwide are spending time crafting Christmas gifts and writing Santa. So where does a holiday-themed panty party fit in here?
Oklahoma teacher Kimberly Crain is facing allegations that her holiday-themed panty party may have crossed a line.
Crain, 48, is accused of inviting five of her elementary school students to her home for pizza and tree-trimming. During the party, she allegedly asked the girls to put on some holiday-themed underwear. She then took pictures and recorded the girls on a camera.
Keep in mind that Crain's students are young. The girls she invited over were in the third and fourth grades.
Crain is now facing child pornography charges. Authorities managed to recover some photographs off of her cell phone.
The allegations don't stop there. Another student reportedly told authorities that Crain sometimes has her students Skype an unknown man named "Uncle G," KDFW-TV reports. She also would take photos of students posing on desks on her personal cell phone.
Oklahoma law strictly forbids the creation of child pornography. Individuals who willfully solicit a child to perform in child pornography can be guilty of a felony and may be punished with between 10 and 30 years of prison time.
This means that if Crain is charged and convicted, the schoolteacher could be spending a few decades in prison.
Crain is currently still in police custody. Authorities consider her a flight risk, reports KRMG-FM. The panty party-throwing teacher has resigned from her teaching position.
