Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
With Mother's Day right around the corner, one Athens, Georgia, man provides insight in what not to do in the days leading up to Mother's Day. For the second time in just three months, and on the Wednesday before Mother's Day, Terry Bernard Ball Jr., was arrested in incidents at his mother's house.
What's more is that each incident that happened involved a pork chop and some rather unbecoming conduct, allegedly.
How the Pork Chop Got Airborne
The first arrest was for assaulting his mother with a pork chop, and then a head butt. Based on what's implied in the most recent arrest, Ball was violating a court order to stay away, and being an ungrateful son. Maybe that last part isn't illegal, nor cause for arrest.
Back in February of this year, Ball was eating a pork chop at his mother's house. Ball became upset after learning his mother did not buy him cigarettes while she was out. Shockingly, Ball, then, threw his pork chop at his mother, then pushed and head-butted her. As a result, he was arrested. As part of that case, he was ordered to stay away from his mother's home. Then, this week, he was arrested while arguing with "everyone" in the house, apparently because someone "ate his pork chop and now he has to eat noodles."
How Not to Celebrate Mother's Day
For countless moms across the country, Mother's Day isn't all it's cracked up to be. From cards awarding them the title of "Second Best Parent" to being guiltily forced into eating food that was prepared by people who are not tall enough to ride the tilt-a-whirl, plenty can go wrong.
Among the best advice for children, of all ages, is to make sure you don't cause any Mother's Day mayhem. No mom wants to have to bail out their son or daughter from jail. So, in the weeks leading up to Mother's Day, to be a good child, avoid the following:
Take a tip from the pork chop slinger mentioned above: if there is a court order to stay away from your mom's house, you should obey it. On top of that, fighting with everyone in your mom's house over who ate your pork chop and complaining about only having noodles to eat, probably isn't going to go over well (after all, there was SOMETHING to eat).
