Block on Trump's Asylum Ban Upheld by Supreme Court
Are you an intellectual property practitioner or law student with an interest in IP? Can you be in Chicago on September 15?
Then you may want to take a break from gazing at architecture from the riverboat cruise or Crown Fountain in Millennium Park - both of which are worth seeing, if you haven't already - to attend the Chicago-Kent Supreme Court IP Review (SCIPR) at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Attendees will participate in panel discussions of the Supreme Court's
2010 IP cases, and preview the 2011 session's IP cases and certiorari petitions under the expert guidance of expert panelists:
The IP conference will feature 50 minute discussions on key IP cases from the last year: Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University v. Roche Molecular Systems, Costco v. Omega, Microsoft v. i4i Limited Partnership, Global-Tech Appliances, Inc. v. SEB S.A., and Golan v. Holder. The conference will conclude with a 75 minute wrap-up of cases pending review in the 2011 Supreme Court session.
Registration for the IP conference is $30 for the general public and $15 for outside academics and students. For more information, visit the SCIPR website or contract Patricia O'Neal at ipconference@kentlaw.edu.
